Brand awareness and improve brand image by building customized strategies for wine estates
France
Wine tourism in Italy or in France? For this summer, travellers in Sicily or in Bordeaux have two beautiful opportunities to spend a good time in beautiful locations and enjoy great wines. In Chiaramonte Gulfi, a city in the southeastern part of Sicily, Gulfi proposes eery day to wine lovers a tour in the winery to understand how a great wine is made from two specific grapes: Nero d'Avola and Caricanti. For lunch at dinner, they could also enjoy a great "organic" cuisine made by Carmelo Floridia, formerly at the 1 star Michelin restaurant at Four Seasons Hotel in Milan. Some rooms are also available for a nice rest in a quiet place around vines and olive trees.

In Bordeaux, wine lovers may get to Château Gruaud Larose, a Second growth from the appellation Saint Julien, which developped in 2010 a new oenotourism (wine tourism) program for the visitors of the Bordeaux region and the chateaux. Eight different visits are proposed from the "traditional circuit", which includes a visit of the estate vineyard, the cellars and a tasting of two wines during 1 hour (for a price of 8 euros) to a prestigious tasting of 4 old vintages at the Chateau for 400 euros (these prices are per person). These visits are all commented by experts such as Mr. Carmagnac, Gruaud Larose’s Cellar Master or Mr. Frederic, Vineyard Manager at the chateau. In these two places, Oenotourism is a great way for tourists to mix cultural aspects and wine passion in great locations.
