Our week will include hands-on cooking classes where I will teach you some of my favorite Spanish dishes.

Accommodations
We'll stay at the beautiful Hacienda de Orán in Seville, which dates back to the 17th Century. Extending over 400 acres of farmland, the Hacienda's tower and noble white-washed entrance to the property are surrounded by olive groves and palm trees. It is also known as the The Cross of the Friar according to the story of the legendary Andalusian bandolero, Diego Corrientes, who was known for his enormous generosity to the common people. In addition to a gorgeous pool and outdoor patios, there is also a Museum of carriages on the property, which is one of the best private collections of horse-drawn carriages in all of Spain. All of the rooms have been restored and wonderfully decorated in typical Andalusian style.

Day Trips
Excursions during the week will include a tour of Seville, a visit to Jerez de la Frontera to see the makings of sherry and sherry vinegar, a trip to Jamón de Huelva where the famous dry-cured Serrano ham is produced, visit to a Spanish olive mill, Flamenco dancing, tapas hopping, visits to bodegas (wine bars), and of course some ceramic shopping!
