IRAN - Iran International Handicrafts Exhibition Tour / 8 Nights – 9 Days.

Avid tour & Travel Agency organizes several special tours for Iran‘s handicrafts. One of the best times to hold this tour is on the international day of Crafts which is on 10th June.

There is an international exhibition for one week in Tehran and more 2000 artists & handicraft people from all over Iran plus neighborhood countries like: Afghanistan, Pakistan, Armenia, Uzbekistan, Syria, Tunisia, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Iraq, etc, comes to gather under one roof. It is an event that you can find all best crafts men & women of Iran in few days. An event that happen only one time in a year. The exhibition is for 1 week and starts from 9th June.


Route: Tehran- Shiraz- Isfahan- Natanz- Kashan- Tehran





1st Day



Arrival in IKA, meeting and greeting by your tour guide, transfer to hotel, O/N Tehran


O/N= Overnight

2nd Day



A full day art city tour to visit: Saad abad museum complex (handicraft & miniature Museums), National art museum, Carpet museum, handicraft & antique shopping centre. O/N Tehran



3rd Day



A Half day art city tour to visit: a traditional Felt Making, carpet museum of Rasam Arabzadeh, international handicraft exhibition. O/N Tehran



4th Day



A half day art city tour to visit: Artists’ House, a traditional tile-making workshop, a traditional silver-making workshop, international handicraft exhibition. O/N Tehran




5th Day



Flight to Shiraz, meeting and greeting by your tour guide, transfer to hotel, have short rest, a full day city tour to visit: Vakil Bazaar, Naranjestan Ghavam, Eram Garden, Hafezieh, Saadi’s mausoleums,  an Inlay- making workshop ( khatamsaze), a mirror-work master workshop, O/N Shiraz



6th Day



Driving to Isfahan, en-route visiting: Quran Gate & Persepolis, arrival in Isfahan, rest, a night visit of Si-o-se pol and Khajoo Bridges. O/N Isfahan



7th Day


A full day art city tour of Isfahan to visit: Bazaar, Imam Square, Shikh lotfollah Mosque and Imam Mosque, a Calico Producer, embroidery in Filigree Producer, classic tile-maker, Enamel –making workshop, metal engraver workshop & a miniaturist. O/N Isfahan


8th Day




Drive to Tehran, en-route visiting: Jomeh mosque in Natanz, Tabatabai house & rose-water extracting workshop in Kashan. Arrival in Tehran, visit a Turquoise-cutting workshop. O/N Tehran


9th Day



Transfer to airport for departure.


Included: All land transportation, English speaking guide for the entire trip, Hotel accommodation on twin sharing basis and breakfast, One-way air ticket from Tehran to Shiraz. All entrance fees for visiting sites in the itinerary, Iran visa support.

Excluded: Int’l air ticket, Late check out (after 14 pm on day 9), Unpredictable events which cause extra expenses during tour, All expenses of private affairs such as telephone calls, faxes, laundry, room service, etc., Expenses due to deviations from the scheduled program, Iran visa embassy fee obtained from the client/s at the time of collecting visa in the embassy, tips, lunches & dinners.


1. Tehran museums are closed on Mondays.

2. The organizer is totally flexible to the needs of the tourists and could change the itinerary according to them.

3. You will receive a CD contains the recipe of 5 Most famous Iranian foods in English Language and a CD contains Examples of different kinds of Iranian local & Traditional Music of Iran as a gift .

4. It is possible to hold a short time course in any field of handicrafts that you are interested.

5. Iran tourism visa is for one month which can be extended 2 times (it means tourist can stay for at most 3 months).

6. It is possible to mange a private meeting with the best master/ producer/ exporter of each field you wish.

7. In case of training course, it is possible to stay in an art residence in Isfahan and/or Tehran.

8- It is possible to have a special tour for your own field.

9- Visa process takes about 3 weeks.
