The sculpting course is designed for beginners and advanced level who like to sculpt under the personal guidance of a professional sculptor in his own studio.
Beginners receive explanations about the different materials and techniques in sculpting. You will work in soft stones such as alabaster and limestone and will learn to model clay. At the advanced level, the focus is on the development of your personal style and to deepen an outlook on your own visual language. You will sculpt in wood, limestone, alabaster, marble or modeling wax or clay. You can make a portrait or figure study, learn different casting techniques, the embossing and patinating of bronze and the assembly of steel. Working in small groups allows an intensive interaction with the student. The price includes the use of tools, machinery, coffee and tea.
